Climber

I guess the good thing is that the U.S. is too big to fail.  Right?

Trump about to sign another executive order. He must have really gotten over his dislike of Presidents issuing those too frequently.

How do you stop old people from telling same ol' stories over and over? Irritating.  How do you stop old people from telling same ol' stories over and over? Irritating.

High school friend of mine, said it well:

Many of our country’s leaders and commentators have voiced the opinion in recent days that hateful rhetoric may be the primary cause of violent acts. While this may be partly true, there appears to me to be another more important causal factor – the very real and hateful governmental policies now being threatened by Congress. More specifically, anytime a wealthy set of American citizens use their wealth to influence our legislators to promote tax policy that seeks to transfer trillions of tax dollars from our less wealthy citizens to the most wealthy, that alone will tend to create millions of very angry voters. And, if on top of that, these same legislators propose to take health insurance coverage away from 23 million of our fellow citizens, some of whom are barely hanging on, there’s another set of millions of citizens who will inevitably be outraged. Neither of these policy decisions constitute hateful rhetoric. Instead, these proposals represent hateful policy. Never forget, that our country’s earliest patriots, fought a bloody revolution over unfair tax policies. What our legislators are doing appears to be much like lighting a stick of dynamite and then wondering why it went off.
